





These little birdies were fun to paint, mainly because they aren’t paintings of any particular bird, they were made out of pure random thought. Towards the end of my day I would simply start stroking the brush on the paper and before I knew it, the shapes were looking more and more like birds. I decided to create different types of shapes, tried different textures, and focused on creating each bird with its own color.
First I started with creating the primary color birds (red, blue, yellow). Next, I created the secondary colored birds (purple, green, orange). Let me know what you guys think of this bird series by leaving a comment.
