This is the last painting so far of my mantis series. I’m just so mesmerized by these types of mantids, their color is absolutely gorgeous! Elegance is in everything they do, the way they pose, the way the rock back and forth when they shuffle away from danger. Don’t let their elegance fool you, they are top predators in the insect realm.
